Dr. Ashish Krishna, MBBS, MS, is a senior consultant and a leading Laparoscopic, GI, and Robotic Surgeon at Mission Hospital, Durgapur. He began his career as a Registrar in Oncosurgery at Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata, gaining valuable experience in complex cancer surgeries, and then served as Senior Resident in General Surgery at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, Delhi, performing a wide range of emergency and elective procedures.

He worked as Consultant Surgeon at Altius Sonia & Hemraj Jain Hospitals, Delhi, managing both elective and emergency surgical cases. Dr. Krishna further advanced his expertise through a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery under Dr. Shailesh Puntambekar at Galaxy CARE, Pune, training in SILS, esophagectomy, nephrectomy, sleeve gastrectomy, and robotic-assisted surgery.

As Senior Consultant at NOVA Surgical Centre, Jeewan Mala Hospital, and Sunrise Hospital, Delhi, he has led bariatric, minimally invasive, laparoscopic, and robotic surgeries while contributing to surgical education and training.
